“The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. Those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them.
- Isaiah 9:2
PLEASE PRAY...
Seek His Light to awaken the lost!
For Christ’s Light to shine into the darkened hearts of people you know.
Seek God for the Light of the Gospel to shine.
Seek God for God’s Love to be received.
That people would experience the amazing compassion of Jesus.
Seek God for the word of God to be understood.
For the word of God to be proclaimed with power and simplicity. For God to illumine His word by the Spirit of God, bringing conviction and clarity.
Seek God for revelation leading to repentance.
For the hard hearted to encounter God’s Love so clearly that they reject false ideas about God.
Seek God to rescue people from spiritual darkness.
Men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God. John 3:19, 21
For God to subdue powers of evil that hold people in darkness. For the light of the Gospel to expose what is false and to illumine the hope of freedom in Jesus.
Pray for mothers, physically disabled, prisoners and their families, the poor, and pastors.
That pastors and church leaders will be filled with wisdom, that they would be honored by those they serve, for protection from plots of the evil one. That God will pour His Spirit giving fresh intimacy with Jesus.
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” - John 8:12
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
- Matthew 5:16

She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness, her children rise and call her blessed. - Proverbs 31:27-28
Happy Mother's Day. I'd like to take this time to wish every mother a Happy Mother's Day. Also, I would like to remind each of us to honor our mothers here on earth and those who have already gone on. Mothers have perhaps one of the most important, challenging, joyful, and important roles in society. We want to encourage each mother to spend your time with God. Seek His wisdom, peace, strength, and encouragement. When you invite God into your daily life and depend upon His Spirit for wisdom, He has promised to give you the answer and the ability to take care of whatever life brings your way. Mothers trust Him! He is right there with you. Again, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY. -Pastor Dave |
